Derby Day 2024 is Saturday, May 4th

Thunder over Louisville kicked the pre-Derby celebration into gear and the day is finally here. Saturday, May 4, 2024 is filled with joyous activities: Farmers Market on the Square, Commencement ceremonies at Campbellsville University, and in the evening the Derby at 6pm and then the Adair County High School Prom. Please remember all the families and friends traveling and drive ever so carefully.

Chilling high school portrayal of eulogy

The most chilling part of the ACHS mock vehicle accident training exercises had to be the realistic demonstration of loss of lives and injury to students - and the feelings around the eulogies, performed here by Mr. Thompson. The morning exercises by law enforcement and first responders were intended to help students zero in on why driving safe matters so very much.
